Dr. Sherif's Approach
Dr. Sherif believes breast augmentation should never feel artificial—it should feel like you, rejuvenated. His consult process includes a detailed exam, sizing trials, and a thoughtful discussion of goals. During surgery, meticulous care is taken to create the perfect pocket for each implant, ensuring soft, natural movement and lasting balance.
Traditionally, surgeons place breast implants partially below the muscle (submuscular or “dual plane” technique) and above the muscle under the breast gland (“subglandular” technique). Dr. Sherif performs both of these as well as a highly specialized technique called subfascial breast augmentation, which offers an excellent aesthetic without disturbing the pectoralis muscle. Dr. Sherif uses all available implants on the market with a focus on Allergan Natrelle implants and the new Motiva implants.
When necessary, an internal mesh bra is recommended to better support the implant and provide long lasting results.
He prioritizes:
-
Natural contouring—not just size, but harmony
-
Minimal-scar techniques—hidden within natural creases
-
Tailored implant selection—based on your tissue, lifestyle, and goals
-
Direct surgeon access—from consultation to post-op

Dr. Sherif uses an in office sizing system during your consultation, helping you preview volume and proportion with your body.
Absolutely. Proper implant placement, thoughtful sizing, and an artistic eye ensure soft transitions and natural fullness.
Modern implants often last 10–15 years or longer. You’ll only need to replace them if you wish to change your size or if a rare complication arises.
Most patients can still breastfeed. Dr. Sherif uses techniques that have a higher change of preserving breastfeeding potential whenever possible.
Silicone implants feel softer and more natural to the touch. Saline implants may feel slightly less natural and cause more rippling but allow for smaller incisions and easy monitoring for ruptures. Both are safe and FDA-approved.
Some patients do require a breast lift (mastopexy) due to the amount of drooping. In some cases, a simultaneous breast lift-augmentation is possible, and in other cases a staged approach is required.
